Freedom

Some of you think of freedom as in living freely, doing whatever we want to do, saying whatever we want to say and not caring about what other people think of us, not caring about their feelings, putting ourselves and our happiness first and defying all sorts of limits that might be put in front of us by society. Actually, being free is realizing that you never achieve that kind of freedom. And understanding that concept is a big part of the whole growing up process, for you learn that there are always self limitations. Those limitations are the result of education, experience and previous limits set by our parents. Being free is learning how, where and why to put limits. Being free is learning that in a relationship between you and another, only you are allowed to assign those limits. Being free is respecting others and their beliefs. Being free is understanding that every action proceeds consequences.  It's that kind of freedom i'm looking to achieve. The real freedom; the one that relieves my mind knowing that i'm on the right track, being able to defend myself whenever i'm being judged, earning people's respect and accomplishing self satisfaction.
